Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I have provided a great deal of information on my website but I know that I may not have answered all of your questions. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions that you may have.
I’m a fourth-generation Arizona native and spent my childhood in Mesa. I have lived in Gilbert for 18 years and have witnessed the evolution of Gilbert first-hand. With a background in entrepreneurship and real estate, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep connection to our town.
Grounded in a commitment to resident-centered policies, I am dedicated to maintaining Gilbert's town culture and protecting our values. I envision a town that is safe and thrives economically while maintaining a tight-knit connection with community. After all, it is the people that make Gilbert such a wonderful place to live!
I have three wonderful teenage children, all of whom are attending school in Gilbert. In 2017, our family suffered the tragic loss of my stepdaughter to an act of violence. This profoundly shifted my perspective on life, igniting a journey of deep learning, healing, and compassion.
I believe in the power of effective leadership that surrounds itself with top experts in their fields, recognizing that collaboration and expertise are key to addressing complex community challenges. There are many great business and community leaders within Gilbert, and we must solicit ideas from the residents to help identify the best ways to solve issues within our town.
I am a calm leader, characterized by active listening, setting a positive example, and fostering a tone of collaboration and inclusivity where people feel heard. I’m dynamic, full of energy, and sometimes a little silly, but by no means should my pleasant demeanor be considered a sign of weakness. I get things done. I keep people on task, and I hold people accountable for their actions.
I am unwavering in my dedication to the betterment of Gilbert as your next mayor. Gilbert is OUR town, with a promising a future that flourishes, and is a safe place where businesses and families can thrive.
